Rachel Brice

I've been a slump lately-- with work stressing me out I didn't have the energy to start one of my takes-a-week 'illustrations' where I come up with an image from scratch, so I decided to take a break from that stuff and draw something from a photo for once.
Rachel is a tribal style bellydancer from San Francisco, and she's kind of my idol. I was fortunate enough to take a class with her and see her perform the weekend before last, and I discovered that in addition to being probably the greatest tribal soloist in the world, she's also this unbelievably sweet, genuinely kind person. I have a freakish psuedo-crush on her.
